sorry for huge gap in reports from the world of amg!

it seems an age since I did this … and it is, no excuses at all! sorry!
After a terrific day at Hoylake with Tom’s sponsors IVL, it was a trip to Miami for me to host a trip for TP guests to the magnificent Doral resort. This is where Justin rose won a WGC event by 1 from Bubba Watson in March, and the home of the famous Blue Monster course. What a place,! just fantastic in every way, the course, the weather the hospitality, just superb. You have to hand it to Americans, they do know service ! The best I have ever witnessed anywhere.

Next stop was a terrific game at Bramshaw GC in the new forest, celebrating John Jacobs time in golf in an exhibition match partnering Neil Coles, against Tommy Horton and Bernard Gallagher. As if I got into that fourball! Anyhow a great and memorable day and I played ok too for the most part!

Stoke Park next stop for my sponsors Lexus, a fantastic day in 85deg wall to wall sunshine. Then to Wentworth for BBC 5 live and the PGA Championship. Always a treat to work alongside the golf correspondent Iain Carter, and even more so to see at close quarters the skills of Luke and Justin Rose, 2 quality fellas if ever I have met any! Thank God they are on ‘our ‘ Ryder Cup team not ‘there’s'!

This week I have hosted a mini clinic for a client at High legh and Thursday is Woburn for Unipart. Friday however is really good as Matt my son aged 16 and jnr captain at Lymm is doing a 4 round golfathon to raise money for cancer research> To date the guys have raised almost £1k! www.justgiving.com/lgcmarathon if you fancy it!

Next week is the Senior PGA at Slayley Hall, 2 days practice at Turnberry with matt and they he has ‘bag’ duties for the week…we will keep you posted. cheers andrew
