Wentworth…

Firstly, apologies for the delayed update to the blog, a few IT issues I am afraid!

Recently we had our own Corporate Club event at the marvellous Conwy links, and what a day we were blessed with! A terrific day won with a great score and sponsored by The Turnberry Hotel, does it get much better?

The first of our ‘short game schools’ to be hosted by Lymm GC went really well to, again we enjoyed brilliant weather, good company and I hope the guys learnt a bit too!

This week started for me with a trip to Wentworth for a long time client and friend Neil Osbourne from the Jewson group, a putting clinic on the newly laid green outside the majestic club and the sun shone too. Another great day, concluded by a BBQ on the patio, this, after the 36 guests played around the east course. Then of course the drive north, the M6 was closed for a bit but in my new Lexus I didn’t seem to mind! What a car it is by the way.

Stockport GC for me in the morning with the RRG guys, an excuse to ‘reckie’ the course pre the Lexus Cup next week. A bank holiday to look forward too also and some golf with Matt & Tom my sons, then to the 2010 course at Celtic Manor the Ryder Cup venue. it will be my first look at it , so watch this space for my reaction early next week.
