Andrew’s first course design was at Dichling in Sussex a number of years ago. Since then he has been involved with some of the De Vere hotel group course changes at Belton Woods and Herons Reach.
More recently Andrew has undertaken a major re-design of the Fairfield Golf & Sailing Club Course in Manchester. Work is due to begin in July 08 after being delayed by greater crested Newts!!! This major revamp of the par 68 course will create 5 completely new holes on land inherited from the land owner United Utilities. It will provide an excellent challenge to an already very pretty golf course situated just off the M60 motorway and alongside the Gorton Reservoir.
The new course will boast a fabulous finish alongside the water and be a par 71. Work due to be complete, all being well, by the end of 08 and playable by summer 09.
